Word of the day – Kalylah @ Pt England School

Task description:Today room 10 got a new task to do it is similar with Number of the week but with a word and we get more everyday.

Malo e’ lelei my name is Kalylah, I am 10 years old.
My family is from Tonga, and New Zealand. I have one sister and one brother, they both go to kindergarten.

My favourite thing about school is learning new things and playing at morning tea and lunchtime.
My favourite thing to do outside of school is going for a walk with my family in the afternoon.

My favourite sport is netball and squash. I love to play netball because it is a winter sport and because it is a running sport.
And I love to play squash because it reminds me of netball just like a running sport and it also reminds me of tennis with the tennis racket but I just love squash because you get to hit the squash ball(I think that is what it’s called) onto the wall.

My culture is Tongan, Maori and Samoan. My favourite movie is Brave because there is a princess named Merida who has beautiful red-ish looking hair (and she is Scottish)Thank you for reading my blog,
